United Way - Day of Caring

On October 16th, the Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre was the recipient of assistance from the United Way Day of Caring.



An incredible team of volunteers helped organize the basement storage space in Oshawa and made a huge difference! WOW!



New Newcomer Workshop

The Durham Welcome Centres, in partnership with several community organizations, are offering Newcomers a Special Workshop on Workers' Rights and Responsibilities.



Special keynote presentation from Ontario's Ministry of Labour.


A light dinner and limited daycare for children aged 7-12 will be available.
