One Stop Employment

The Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre (DRUHC) provides job seekers and employers with a single location to access a range of employment-related services and resources

Resource Room

Available to all job seekers for job search related activities. It is outfitted with modern computers, high-speed internet access, up-to-date software, and printing facilities. Knowledgeable staff members are available to assist job seekers with their job search, resume building, interview preparation, and other related tasks.

Employment Counselling

Designed to provide individuals with support and guidance throughout their job search journey. The goal of employment counselling is to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, build confidence, and find sustainable employment that aligns with their skills, interests, and goals.

Workshop

We offer a variety of workshops to help job seekers develop skills and find employment opportunities. These workshops may cover topics such as resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, networking, and career exploration. Workshops may be offered in-person or online.
